There is no more important factor in growing than watering<\/strong>. Just for those of you who are sometimes struggling with the right water supply or have even encountered a watering problem<\/strong>, we have 23 must-know hints and tips. <\/p>\n\n\n

23 tips to avoid watering problems<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Seeds<\/strong> only need moisture. Excessive watering will prevent the supply of oxygen, which they also need. Germination outside the soil is better.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The amount and intensity of watering<\/strong> depends on the size of the cannabis plant<\/strong> and also the amount of light for the marijuana plants<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. If a plant is smaller than the others or has smaller leaves, it does not mean that it needs more water<\/strong>!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Care must be taken when watering<\/strong> seedlings so that the little cannabis plant<\/strong> does not sink to the ground under the weight of the water<\/strong>. To keep the plant upright, it is advisable to use a spray bottle. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. There is a myth that the more water<\/strong> we offer plants, the faster they will grow. But it’s not true<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. The most common problem among growers and the cause of cannabis<\/strong> plant mortality is overwatering<\/strong>. The roots don’t get oxygen and the marijuana plant<\/strong> dies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. The soil must be neither too dry nor too wet. When the surface is pressed with the fingers, water<\/strong> must not splash out onto the surface.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Plants benefit from watering<\/strong> in the early morning rather than in the afternoon. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Use only room temperature water for watering<\/strong>. Too cold water will shock the root system. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Higher amounts of chlorine in the watering<\/strong> solution lead to increased substrate acidity. This changes the pH of the soil, which can lead to calcium deficiency, for example. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  11. If the water<\/strong> is contaminated with a high amount of chemicals, it is necessary to leave it in an open container for a few days in the air. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  12. Distilled water is suitable if fertilisers (micronutrients) are added in the right proportion. Boiling water from the mains is completely unnecessary. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  13. A sign of good watering<\/strong> is when the top 5 cm of the substrate is slightly moist, but the plant still has moist in the pot underneath.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  14. A symptom of overwatering cannabis plants<\/strong> can be wilting and leafs loss starting from the bottom of the plant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  15. It is always better to use a sprayer or sprinkler than a stream of water.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  16. It is better to water the plant directly to the roots and let the excess water drain out<\/strong>, rather than letting the roots “suck” from the bowl under the pot.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  17. Limiting watering<\/strong> during flowering has a positive impact on the plant’s potency. During flowering, water as soon as the leaves start to show a lack of moisture, rather than watering regularly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  18. Check the pH<\/strong> before watering as much as you can. Poor water pH<\/strong> can have a long-term adverse effect on the overall soil pH and thus prevent nutrient supply to the plant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  19. Although it is a very adaptable plant, it prefers the most regular watering<\/strong> cycle. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  20. Due to the different growth rates, each cannabis plant may have a different water requirement<\/strong>. Therefore, water plants individually and monitor the soil and plant signals like wilting<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  21. Rainwater<\/strong> often contains higher levels of nitrogen, making it an excellent source of watering<\/strong>, especially for indoor growing<\/strong>, but pay attention to acidity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  22. The marijuana plant likes plenty of watering<\/strong>. So don’t be afraid to water sufficiently ( You need good drainage, to allow excess water to drain away).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  23. Indoor cannabis plants<\/strong> do not experience rain<\/strong>. The rain affect your plant positively at the beginning of the growth phase. You can at least partially compensate for this by spraying the plant or using a humidifier. However, she does not like this simulation in the flowering<\/strong> phase. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
