Yes, this means that everything that is portrayed in movies about how you eat a bag of cannabis and get super high is complete bullshit. <strong>Decarboxylation is the process that must take place for the psychoactive components of cannabis to become active and produce effects.<\/strong> Decarboxylation, or the prolonged exposure of cannabis to heat, occurs immediately after smoking marihuana, when marihuana reacts to high temperatures. THCA<\/strong> is a non-psychoactive component that can only be activated to <strong>THC<\/strong> after raw hemp has undergone decarboxylation. Exposing cannabis to heat for a period of time will break down the cannabinoids and convert <strong>THCA to THC<\/strong>. Place them lightly on the baking tray and place another tray on top. This is to avoid direct contact with the heat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bake for 45 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove the marihuana from the oven and let it cool for 30 minutes. This serves to stabilise the jar once it has been placed in the oven.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place the baking tray in the oven and bake for 60 minutes. Periodically remove the jar from the oven with oven mitts and shake it lightly to distribute the weed evenly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After 60 minutes, remove the jar and allow to stand for 30 minutes. The weed is suitable for immediate use or can be stored for later.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"sous-vide\">Sous-Vide<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Sous-vide decarbonisation is the most advanced way to decarbonise cannabis at home. Set the circulator to 95 \u00b0C (203 \u00b0F). (It is important to follow the detailed instructions for your immersion circulator in this step).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grind the hemp finely. As the temperature will be regulated, you don&#8217;t have to worry about overheating the marihuana or destroying the terpenes, aroma or THC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the vacuum cap or water exchange method, if using a plastic Ziploc bag, to seal the cannabis in the bag of your choice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Place the sealed bag in a water bath for 90 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After 90 minutes, remove the bag and allow it to cool for 15-20 minutes.
