1. CANNABIS OIL FOR PAIN AND GOOD MOOD

Medicinal hemp oil made from hemp resin concentrate is very effective in combating pain of various origins thanks to its high concentration of CBD. This cannabinoid activates the body’s receptors called CB2, whose function is to stop pain and regulate inflammation. In this way, they then relieve the pain we feel. Of course, it is also a product rich in THC, one of the main types of cannabinoid contained in cannabis, which has euphoric effects and which, when consumed in moderate doses in the form of cannabis oil, produces an improvement in the mental state and thus has beneficial effects on the person.

THERAPEUTIC USES OF HEMP OIL

Medicinal cannabis oil helps relieve pain, has an anti-inflammatory effect and reduces arterial tension, mainly due to the sedative effects of an alkaloid known as CBD. It stimulates appetite, helps skin regeneration, reduces intraocular pressure and reduces epileptic seizures, among many other benefits, thanks to the action of THC and other cannabinoids.

HOW TO DO IT

First, you need to prepare a pure extract (resin) of marijuana. This is obtained by taking an appropriate amount of dried cannabis i.e. (leaves, flowers as needed) and putting them in a container full of ethanol for ten minutes. There it will dissolve all the resin you need.

You should then isolate the resin from the cannabis residue, which you will do by straining through a paper coffee filter.

Then let the alcohol and resin mixture dry for five days or more until you see that the alcohol has evaporated and only the black oil (almost pure resin cannabis extract) remains.

This method yields up to several grams of pure extract, which you then mix with twenty times its weight in vegetable oil and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture is consistent.

2. ANALGESIC CREAM TO RELIEVE MUSCLE PAIN AND DAMAGED JOINTS

You can also use the leftovers from the harvest to make a hemp cream that relieves muscle and joint pain. This cream has a “warming” effect whenever you apply it to a damaged part of the body. The varieties most suitable for making this cream are those with a high CBD content such as our Cleopatra variety designed for this purpose. However, you can use other varieties, but the more CBD the variety contains, the more effective your cream will be.

HOW TO DO IT

Immerse appropriate amounts of flowers and leaves as needed in 1 L of hot water and half a liter of oil. Stir for 2 – 4 h. Never at high temperatures, as high temperatures degrade cannabinoids (boiling point for THC should not exceed 149.3°C celsius and for CBD 206°C celsius)

Then set aside the liquid obtained by straining and let it solidify at low temperatures until all the oil is separated from the water.

The resulting oil with cannabinoids is then boiled in a pot to which 50 g of beeswax is added and allowed to sit until a consistent texture is formed.

3. HOMEMADE HEMP SOAP FOR SKIN REGENERATION

Soap made from hemp is another one of those homemade cannabis recipes products that you can make at home yourself from the less attractive flowers and leaves from your harvest.

Not only is it an effective tool for cleaning and disinfecting your skin, but thanks to its high vitamin E content, hemp helps you fight bacteria and stimulate skin regeneration. Its long-term use ensures clean and smooth skin thanks to Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, which have a moisturizing effect on the skin.

Hemp soap is a handy product that can be used every day for the overall health of your skin.

THE THERAPEUTIC USES OF HEMP SOAP

It is recommended for people with sensitive skin or skin allergies as it has the property of regulating the PH of the skin. Due to its high vitamin E content, it is very effective as a prevention against dry cracked skin, mild dandruff, hives and skin rashes.

HOW TO DO IT

Heat 5 kilograms of cocoa butter in a container to 35ºC.

At the same time, heat 670 g of lye in another vessel at the same temperature.

Then mix these two ingredients together and stir for 2 h. While stirring, add 670 g of oat flour, 25 g of hemp flour and 50 ml of hemp oil to the mixture.

When the mixture is consistent, pour it into the mould and leave it to rest for a day.

Then separate the mould, let it dry for another half a day and you can cut it into small pieces as needed, which will give you a “cure” for 3 to 4 weeks.

4. HEMP BANDAGES FOR CUTS, OPEN WOUNDS AND BURNS

Cannabis wraps and hot bandages filled with cannabis are part of the ancestral European pharmacological tradition. Centuries ago, people used many cannabis recipes to treat burns and skin rashes in this way and also to relieve pain in serious diseases such as the Black Plague.

During the Middle Ages, however, these practices almost disappeared because the Inquisition believed that the effects of cannabis were of ‘diabolical’ origin. These are almost forgotten practices that are very effective against skin problems and have a regenerative effect on the skin due to the sedative effects of cannabis.

You can squeeze a few flowers and leaves in very hot water and then soak damp cotton gauze in it. The plant matter must be on the back of the bandage to be applied to the area to be treated.

5. TEA FROM MARIJUANA ROOTS, FOR HEALING THE BODY FROM WITHIN

It has been used in Chinese medicine for 4,000 years. Then cut them into smaller pieces and grind them until they take on a powdery consistency and are completely dry.

Next, boil the root powder like normal tea, in about a litre of water. It is not advisable to make tea with roots that have been chemically treated in any way with fertilizers or nutrients, as these substances can have an adverse effect on the body.

In addition, the use of this tea should be occasional to treat certain ailments. Excessive consumption – e.g. on a daily basis for a long time – can have an adverse effect on the blood.
