Cannabis juicing : recipes and instructions for a 7-day cleanse

In many different cultures, juicing (not just cannabis juicing) has been used for centuries as a holistic method of promoting overall health and well-being. Only in recent years has the idea of cleansing or detox juices been considered somewhat controversial by the medical community. Our body has five major organ systems that are naturally constantly detoxifying (skin, liver, kidneys, colon and lungs). Over time, several factors can overload these systems (such as poor diet, lack of exercise, stress and environmental pollutants), causing them to not function at their best. If you’re feeling tired, sluggish or congested, incorporating a seven-day green juice into your diet can be a simple way to nourish, cleanse and reset your systems. What is green juice?

Fresh green juice is the extraction of liquid and nutrients from the solid flesh of (mainly) vegetables and some fruits. Real green juice contains no added sugar, chemicals or preservatives. Cannabis juicing tips

If you intend to add cannabis leaves to the mix, here are some recommendations:

  • Keep it raw! The same amount of raw cannabis that provides 500-1000 milligrams of THC-A will only provide about 10mg of THC if heated.
  • Go organic! Always choose organically grown and well rinsed plants. All the nutrients in the plant will be in your juice extract!
  • Fresh is best! Use a combination of 15-20 large fresh fan leaves, 30-40 small fresh sugar leaves, or 2 large fresh cannabis flowers.
  • Mix them together! For best results and taste, mix your cannabis with other fresh vegetables and greens in juice.

Recipe suggestions for 7 days of green cannabis juice

You will need a juicer for the following cannabis juicing recipes. Try to buy organic if you can, and wash your products thoroughly before using them. Be sure to clean your juicer as soon as possible after using it (before the pulp starts to dry and stick to the inside of your juicer). Finally, cold-pressed juice is the best method for retaining maximum nutritional benefits.

  • 5 handfuls of spinach
  • 3 kale leaves
  • 7 large cannabis leaves
  • ½ cucumber
  • ½ lemon
  • 1 Fuji apple
